About this formulation
Punarnavarishta is a classical tonic fermented around Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa), Ayurveda's premier anti-oedema and kidney-supporting herb. Traditionally used for water retention, generalised swelling, sluggish kidney function and liver-related fluid accumulation, it promotes healthy urine flow and helps the body clear excess fluid. Its diuretic, Kapha-pacifying action works on the Mutravaha and Rasavaha channels to relieve dropsy and puffiness. Regular use supports kidney and liver balance and comfortable fluid metabolism. As a naturally fermented Arishta it aids digestion and absorption, prepared to strict classical standards and batch-tested for purity.
Classical reference: Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Shotha / Mutrakrichra Chikitsa Prakarana).
