About this formulation

Abhayarishta is a classical fermented tonic built around Abhaya (Haritaki), Ayurveda's premier bowel regulator. Traditionally taken after meals, it relieves chronic constipation, eases piles (Arsha), reduces gas and bloating, and restores comfortable, regular bowel movements. Its gentle laxative and carminative herbs improve digestion and clear downward-moving Vata without the harshness of stimulant purgatives. By pacifying aggravated Vata in the Purishavaha channel, Abhayarishta supports long-term gut regularity and ano-rectal comfort. As a naturally fermented Arishta, it also kindles Agni and aids assimilation. It is prepared to classical standards and batch-tested for purity.

Classical reference: Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Arsha Chikitsa Prakarana).
