About this formulation

Shothari Mandoor is a classical iron-based (Mandoora) formulation named for its action against Shotha (swelling and oedema). Traditionally used to reduce generalised swelling, water retention and puffiness, it also corrects the anaemia and weakness that often accompany chronic oedema by nourishing the blood. Its combined diuretic and Rakta-nourishing action works on the Rasavaha, Mutravaha and Raktavaha channels to clear excess fluid and rebuild strength. A classical remedy for oedema with anaemia, Shothari Mandoor is best used under guidance, prepared to strict standards and batch-tested for purity.

Classical reference: Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Shotha / Pandu Chikitsa Prakarana).
