About this formulation

Ashwagandharishta is a classical nervine tonic fermented around Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Ayurveda's chief adaptogen. Traditionally taken to relieve mental exhaustion, anxiety and stress, it calms the nervous system, improves sleep, and rebuilds strength and vitality after illness or overwork. Its rejuvenating, Vata-pacifying action nourishes the nervous tissue (Majja dhatu) and steadies the mind, while the fermentation aids absorption and digestion. A classical Medhya-Balya (mind-strengthening, tonic) formulation, Ashwagandharishta supports resilience, stamina and restful sleep. It is prepared to strict classical standards and batch-tested for purity.

Classical reference: Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Rasayana / Unmada Chikitsa Prakarana).
