About this formulation
Panchgun Taila is a versatile classical oil valued for its fivefold (panch-guna) action on pain, swelling and wounds. Traditionally applied to sprains, strains, sports injuries, chronic non-healing ulcers and painful swellings, it rapidly reduces inflammation, relieves discomfort and promotes clean tissue healing. Its warming, Vata- and Kapha-pacifying herbs improve local circulation and mobilise stagnation at the site of injury. Equally useful for musculoskeletal strain and slow-healing wounds, Panchgun Taila is a practical household remedy. Working on the Mamsavaha and Vrana (wound) sites, it is prepared to classical standards and batch-tested for external use.
Classical reference: Traditional classical Taila formulation (Vrana & Vata Chikitsa).
